Solution :

Whenever an element is represented as :-

\sf_d^{c}A

Then A is symbol of that element. Symbol is used to represent elements in short form. Fir example symbol of Hydrogen is H , Aluminium is Al and so on. Every element has unique symbol.

Now c represents mass number of element A.

d represents atomic number of element A.

So now in the question it is given :-

\sf_6^{12}X

So, atomic number of given element X is 6. That means X is Carbon.

Mass number is 12 .

X = C ( carbon)
