The first road was full of grass as very few people travel from earth and the second road was clear as very very much people choose this road

Both roads in the poem means the path through which he wants to get success. The first was grassy which means it was full of oppurtunities but there were only few footprints which means very few people took that path. The other one was not so grassy because many people passed through it and it had very less opportunity left.
