Let,

  • AC = the height of the tower

= 150m

=> h + y = 150m

BCDE is a rectangle,

  • DC = BE = distance between the tower and the building

= 'x' m

  • ED = BC = height of the building

= 'h' m

  • <BEA = angle of depression to the top of the building from the tower

= 30°

  • <CDA = angle of depression to the bottom of the building from the tower

= 45°

Note:-

In order to make calculations easier, I've taken different variables. If you are comfortable using '150-h', you can use that also. The answer would remain unchanged.
