From the top of a building a ball is dropped while another is projected horizontally at the same time. (i) which ball will strike the ground first? (ii) which will strike the ground with more speed? Justify your answer in each case.

both of the balls would reach the ground at the same time as their vertical components of velocities are same initially

but the ball which is thrown horizontally has both vertical component and horizontal component thus the ball which is thrown horizontally fall with greater speed than the ball dropped
