Given :  top of a tower a ball is thrown vertically upwards with an initial velocity U write expressions for

To Find :  (a) velocity (b) height above the tower of the ball at time

Solution:

Initial Velocity = U

V = u + at

a = - g  ( acceleration due to gravity )

V = U  - gt

velocity = U  - gt

S = ut + (1/2)at²

h = Ut  -(1/2)gt²

height above the tower of the ball at time  = Ut  -(1/2)gt²
