on 13th April 1919 , a huge crowd gathered in the enclosed field of jalianwala bagh which is situated in Amritsar Punjab. Many have come to attend the annual Baisakhi fair and some have to come to protest against the British oppressive law. Many were unknown about the imposition of martial law that was imposed.
soon general Dyer came and blocked all the exit points and started firing on the huge crowd indiscriminately. many were supposed to death and many were wounded .
This caused a wide spread anger and agitation whole over the India.
