Himalaya. The Himalayas are the largest chain of mountains in the world. It divides India and China through a long border and from its eastern side, Brahmaputra enters into India from China.

It takes a U-turn from Arunachal Pradesh after crossing into India and then enters into Assam before flowing right through the state.

Ultimately, the river flows downstream and meets the Padma river in Bangladesh before merging into the Bay of Bengal.
