Dandi March or Salt March is also referred to as the Dandi Satyagraha was lead by Mahatma Gandhi and non-violent in nature.
On 12th March 1930, Gandhiji decided to march the full distance of 241 miles to the small sea side village of Dandi in Gujarat from his Sabarmati Ashram located at Ahmedabad.
