Gangadharpant had started his journey from Pune. The first stop was at Lonavala; the second was at Karjat; then the train stopped at Sarhad; finally the train stopped at Victoria Terminus. This journey Gangadharpant took in his other-world dimension in which he experienced different history.

According to Deshpande, Gangadharpant made this transition from one world into another world after his collision in which the neuron in his brain triggered this experience. At the time of collision Gangadharpant was thinking about catastrophe theory and its role in wars, especially the battle of Panipat.

Regardless of whether it was to discharge a book or to talk at a school day or to praise some celebration of some association or to congratulate an individual on his sixtieth birthday celebration, or to direct a class not really associated with history, Professor Gaitonde was promptly accessible.

In any case, he had since quite a while ago chosen that his thousandth appearance on the stage would be for history, his most loved subject.
