For plants carbon and oxygen are got from the atmosphere..

While the hydrogen is got from the water..

Plants take in carbon dioxide from atmosphere, plants absorb water from ground up through their roots. During photosynthesis, the energy from the sun splits the water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen
