Ants, these small creatures come from a nest which is not far away from the place of food.. The nest can be in your wall cracks, furniture wood, behind some wardrobes, underneath some kitchen drawers or on the outer layer of wall of you house.
Actually these tiny creatures have antenna which smells odour and detects where the food is. When a wandering ant comes to place where the food is and takes a little bit of food with them back to their hideout, it leaves a chemical trail so that next time many ants can smell or trace these chemical exactly to the location where the food is.
Thanks
