the poet asks the child to shut his eyes so as to dream of wildfire-flies that are glow-worms. They dance through the fairy neem. The neem tree here is symbolized as a fairy because of two reasons. Either because it has been considered holy and sacred in Hinduism and tales or because it appears to be a fairy in the nighttime.  

The poet reveals that she has stolen a little lovely dream from the poppy-bole. This flower is considered to be very bright and colourful.
