From where does the water in ganga comes?

Here's the answer!

Ganges (Ganga) is the holiest and the longest river in India. It originates/flows from a Glacier named Gangotri in Uttranchal. The ancient Name of the river was Bhagirathi. It is believed that Bhagirath brought Ganges to earth and thus was named after him for his act.
