The Krishna River originated from Mahabaleshwar (Dist. Satara , Maharashtra). It is a popular hill station located in the Sahyadri mountain range.

Bhima, Dindi, Peddavagu, Musi, Paleru, Munneru, Kudali (Niranjna) Venna, Koyna, Panchganga, Dudhaganga, Ghataprabha, Malaprabha, Tungabhadra.
