Biodiesel can only be produced from the below two seed that is :
jatropha – The jatropha seed are highly rich in oil and have been used a biodiesel for several years now in India.
It is one of the most used sources to produce biodiesel. jatropha seeds can produce 40 % oil.
Mahua - Biodiesel can be produced from Mahua seed as the extracted oil is 19 % free from fatty acid.
Using the process of catalyzed transesterification it becomes easy to convert mahua oil into biodiesel.
