Answer:

a.340 Rs

Step-by-step explanation:

1)first what I did was divided 10 by 1.5 which got me to a little over six which would give you the number of 1.5 liter boxes you can get to get 10 liters total.

ex:10/1.5=6.66666666667

2)Since we can't get .66666666667 of a box and we want to spend as little money as possible we need to find out how many more liters we need.

ex: A) 6boxes*1.5liters= 9 liters of ice cream

     B) 10 needed liters- 9 liters= 1 needed liter of ice cream

3) so we only need one more liter which costs 40 Rs.

4) Dont forget to multiply your 6 boxes of ice cream by the 50 Rs

ex: 6 boxes* 50 Rs=300 Rs

5)now just add the price of 300 Rs and 40 Rs

ex: 300 Rs+40 Rs= 340 Rs

Hope that helps
