Forth Flotation Method :-

This method is mainly used for Sulphides ores . In this method impurities get wetted and pure are not wetted .

In this method the impurities ore is finely powered and kept in water in a flotation cell . Under the pressure air is blown to produce froth of water . Then the ore particles comes up which are in the pure form and come down or settle down are impurities .

Then the froth ( top ore - pure ore ) is separated from the flotation cell and impure ore which settled at the bottom of the cell and washed to get ore particles .

Hi friend_______,

★ This process depends on the preferential wettability of the ore with oil and the gaunge particles by water.

★ Lighter ores such as sulphide ores are separated by this method.

I hope this would be helpful to you..
