Answer:

ans : 14.4 kg apples sold at 20 % profit

9.6 kgs apples sold at 5% loss

Step-by-step explanation:

  • x part of 24 kg apple sold at 20% profit so his profit = X × 20/100 = 0.2x

  • less part of apple is = 24-X that he sold 5 percent loss = ( 24-X )5/100

= ( 24-x ) 0.05

= 1.2 - 0.05x

  • know last he earn proft by total 24 kg apples sell

is 10 percent = 24× 10/100 = 2.4

know think practically u have two thing one thing is earning u 10 rs by sold and second thing give u loss of 5 rs so your total earning is

off course 5 rs that formula apply here..

Profit - loss = total profit

0.20x - 1.2 + 0.05x = 2.4

0.25x = 2.4+1.2

x = 3.6/0.25

x = 14.4 kg

profit by 14.4 kg apple and loss by 9.6 kg apple
