Most of us experience combustion, a chemical process where a fuel combines with oxygen to produce heat and light, in the form of a fire where both the fuel and ignition source are well known.

Combustion

Combustion is a chemical process in which a substance react with oxygen in order to give heat and light . this process is basically termed as combustion of fuel.

For example- Wood burns to give out heat and light,
wood ---------> Heat + Light .

Things needed for combustion

● Fuel ( combustible substance )
● Oxygen
● Heating the combustible substance to its ignition temperature.
