Momentum refers to the quantity of motion a moving object has. The more mass it has or the faster it’s moving, the greater its momentum.  Momentum = Mass × Velocity

There is no momentum in a still object because there is no velocity present. Mass is measured in (kg) and velocity is measured in meters per second (m/s).

kg * m/s.

Every moving object has momentum
