\huge\bold{RNA}

RNA stands for Ribonucleic Acid.

There are overall two types of nucleic acid :

● DNA ( Dioxyribonucleic Acid )

It is double stranded means it has two strips in its structure which are joined with each other. it helps in passing characteristics to coming generations.

● Second one is RNA ( Ribonucleic Acid )

It is single stranded means it has only one strip in its structure. it helps in coding.

■ DNA is present in all living cells.

■ RNA is present in viruses.

\bold{More\:information}

=> Cells have nucleus.

=> Nucleus has nucleoplasm.

=> Nucleoplasm has two things :

• Nucleolus

• Chromatins

● Nucleolus is rich in substances like RNA and it is the site for protein synthesis.

● The chromatin contains genetic material like DNA.

There are some nucleotides also...and these are :
● Adenine
● Guanine
● Cytocin
● Thymine

In DNA structure...

Adenine combines with thymine and guanine combines with cytocin.

In RNA structures, one nucleotide is different from that of DNA and these are :

● Adenine
● Guanine
● Cytocin
● Uracil

In RNA structure..

Adenine combines with uracil and guanine combines with cytocin.
