Yes I believe that they can go together because Religion and education have nothing to do with each other .....as we see these days in Sikhs school we also have English and a third language even though it's a Sikh school. If we take a bigger example as almost all the schools in India are English medium even though we r Indian and our mother language is Hindi but still we all learn English .All students including Muslim, Bengali , Sikh , Christian etc study English.

We also see that not all school r completely English medium their r some schools who support their religious Language like in Bengal their r many students who study Bengali as their main language and Like in Punjab There also many student Study Punjabi as there main language .
