Answer:

The heart functions as a double pump. When impure blood arrives at heart from the veins,it first enters into the right atrium. From here, the blood flows through an opening into the right ventricle. The impure blood is transported from the right ventricle to the lungs by pulmonary artery.Gaseous exchange takes place in the lungs. The blood gives off carbon dioxide and takes in oxygen. The oxygen rich blood reaches the left atrium through the pulmomary veins. From here, the blood flows through an opening into the left ventricle. From the left ventricle, oxygen rich blood enters the aorta. It is then transported to all parts of the body through a dense network of arteries. The oxygen is used by the body and in the process, the body prodces carbon dioxide as by product.Blood then collects carbon dioxide from the body and returns to the right ventricle of the heart. The blood is now pumped back into the lungs.

Let me remind a single word to you that when you read the above answere, you need to have the conceptual structures of the heart. If you please, mark me as brainliest.
