Function of blood for class 9th

a)) blood is liquid connective tissue which transports oxygen and carbon di oxide but its affection towards oxygen than carbon dioxide.
b)) it has 3 type of substance -
RBC or red blood corpuscles. it is made of haemoglobin containing iron. it doesnot have nucleus accept camel's rbc
one molecule of haemoglobin combine with 4 molecule of oxygen to transport them.
WBC or white blood corpuscles. its function is to protect our body from diseases and infections. they fight against them.
platelets . these are the cells which stop bleeding from an injury by clotting.

blood clotting process :
injuted tissue comes contact with platelets and first form thramboplastin. with the help of this thramboplastin prothombin is converted into thrombin.with rhe help of thombin fibrinogen is converted into fibrin and then fibrin xomes in cintact with blood and blood clot is formed.
there is 4 litres of blood in our body.

- it has fluid Matrix that is ground substance called plasma which has dissolved proteins, salts and hormones and in which RBC ,WBC ,platelets are lying and it helps in transportation of gases, good ,hormones and waste substances to diff. Parts of our body
