Voltmeter measures the voltage.
Brushes in motors makes a path of the current... ( may be, not sure)...

Function of :-
1. Galvanometer is to find the direction of the current.
2. Brushes is to create the potential difference between the two wires.
3. Voltmeter is to tell the amount of potential difference being created.
