These are the functions of human heart
The atria and ventricles work as a team- the 1.Atria filled with blood then dump it into the ventricles. The ventricles then squeeze pumping blood out of the heart.
2.While ventricles are squeezing, the atria refil and get ready for the next contraction.
3. There are 4 special valves inside the heart.
4. Two of the heart valves let blood flow from the Atria to the ventricle. The Other two control the flow of the blood as it leaves the heart.
5. These all four valves work to keep the blood flowing forward. They open up to let the blood move ahead, then the close quickly to keep the blood from flowing backwards.
