RAM....it is used by the CPU when a computer is running to store information that it needs to be used very quickly but it does not store permanently.
ROM....Is us used to store the start up instructions for a computer.

Both r storage devices that is their function is to store data. But the difference is that in ROM(Read Only Memory ) data doesn't get erased when we switch off the power but in RAM(Random Access Memory) data get erased when we switch off the power
