- RBC is also known as Erythrocyte
- It is present in bone marrow.
- It is flat and spherical shape
- It is nucleus less and oxygen transports to all parts of the body.
- RBC colour Red because haemoglobin pigment present in blood .
- In healthy person haemoglobin present is 12 to 18 gram %
- If haemoglobin in body less then 12% gm so anaemia disease occurs.
- Human body in RBC life span is 120 days and after 120 days haemoglobin destroy and pass through liver for use nitrogenous substance formed and bone marrow again produce haemoglobin.
White Blood Cell :
- WBC is also known as leucoytes .
- White blood cells are colour less cell without haemoglobin
- WBC in Nucleus is present and it provide energy .
- They are the largest cells of the blood.
- WBC fight aginst infective bacteria and destroy infective bacteria so it is called Soldiers of our body .
- WBC shape like amoeba means Irregular shape.
