coalition govt is formed one party doesn't get the required majority support...it will form a govt along with the other parties.....the govt so formed is called coalition govt ...

it performs a similar functions like the single party govt...

but a coalition govt provides a scoop for political instability..

so it's not stable and satisfactory..
