Difference Between Bones and Cartilage. A bone is a hard connectivetissue, while cartilage is soft connectivetissue. Bones form the skeletal structureof the body, whereas cartilage is present in nose, ear, ribs, larynx, and joints and also act as a shock absorber in these joints.
