Heya...

here's your answer.....

The pituitary is an endocrine (hormone-producing) gland that sits just beneath the base of the brain, behind the bridge of the nose. It is very small – only about the size of a pea.

The main hormones produced by the pituitary are:

ACTH  adrenocorticotropic hormone

ADH  anti-diuretic hormone, or vasopressin

FSH  follicle-stimulating hormone

GH  growth hormone

LH  luteinizing hormone

PRL  prolactin

TSH  thyroid-stimulating hormone

Thanks....!!!

The pituitary gland is small and oval-shaped. It’s located behind your nose, near the underside of your brain. It’s attached to the hypothalamus by a stalklike structure.
The hypothalamus is a small area of your brain. It’s very important in controlling the balance of your bodily functions. It controls the release of hormones from the pituitary gland.
The hormones of the pituitary gland help regulate the functions of other endocrineglands. The pituitary gland has two parts—the anterior lobe and posterior lobe—that have two very separate functions. The hypothalamussends signals to the pituitary to release or inhibit pituitary hormone production. (Functions)

Hormones
Thyroid simulating hormone
Melanocyte-stimulating hormone
Adrenocorticotropic hormone
Follicle-stimulating hormone
