blood - blood is the one of the fluid connective tissues that helps in transportation of various materials and gases . blood plasma transports digested food different salt , co2 and nitrogenous wastes in dissolved form .

• transport oxygen , co2 , nutrients , hormones , heat and metabolic wastes .
• regulation of pH , body temperature,and water content of cells

lymph ÷ lymph is also known as tissue fluid which consists of some amount of plasma , proteins and WBC lymph carries digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from extracellular space into the blood .

• lymph carries digested and absorbed fats from small intestine to different tissues of the body .
• it drains excess fluid from extracellular spaces back into the blood .
• lymph protects tissues or cells from infection.

it also removes waste products from the body cells and drains them into blood .
