lymph ÷ lymph is also known as tissue fluid which consists of some amount of plasma , proteins and WBC lymph carries digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from extracellular space into the blood .

  • it drains excess fluid from extracellular spaces back into the blood .
  • lymph protects tissues or cells from infection.
