Mitochondria are the "powerhouses" of the cell, breaking down fuel molecules and capturing energy in cellular respiration.

Chloroplasts are found in plants and algae. They're responsible for capturing light energy to make sugars in photosynthesis. also responsible for coloring of plants

Mitochondria :
These are small rod - like or spherical structures. They oxidize food to provide energy and are therefore called the powerhouse of the cell.
Chloroplast :
These contain the green pigment called Chlorophyll, which helps plants in making food.
