to pump or circulate the originated blood through aorta to all body cell by (contraction and relaxing process)By systolic and diastolic movement.

During systole, the ventricles contract punping blood through the body, during diastole the ventricles relax and fill with the blood again. the left ventricles receive oxygenated blood from the left atrium via the mitral valve and pumps it through the aorta via the aortiv valve into the systemic circulation.
