-Lok sabha is composed of representative of the people choosen by direct election on the basis of adult suffrage.

-The miximum strength of the house envisaged by the constitution is 552.

-Two members of the anglo-indian community are nominated by the president, if, in his opinion, that community is not adequately represented in the house.

 \textbf {Presiding \: officers:} Lok sabha elects one of its own members as it's presiding officer and he is called the  \textbf {Speaker.}

-He is assisted by the deputy speaker who is also elected by Lok sabha.

-The conduct of business in Lok sabha is the responsibility of speaker.

THE INDIAN LOK SABHA :-

1. Should not have more than 550 members.

2. The members must be elected directly by the people.

3. Each member must be a citizen of India.

4. He must be below 21 years of age.

5. Each members must represent at least 5 lakh citizens.

6. The normal term of this house of 5 years.

7. The president can dissolve it earlier also.

8. The President can nominate the ANGLO-INDIAN members.

9. The members of the house elect the SPEAKER and the DEPUTY SPEAKER  from among themselves.

10. The speaker acts as the CHAIRMAN.
