•As agriculture is the main concern in rural areas , the samiti gave land to the poor and the landless and also makes improved seeds, fertilizers, farm machienery.

•It takes care of hospitals and health services for the rural masses.

•It ensures supply of clean and drinking water and digs tubewells and wells for public.

•It also set up educational institutions for providing higher education at the junior college and the college level.

•The samiti also works for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes within the area.

•It approvs contruction plans and takes other developement works including building and maintenance of roads and bridges.
