Answer -

Sensory Neurons :

● These are also known as afferent.

● They carry nerve impulses from Relay neurons.

● Later on the nerve impulse is transferred to the Central Nervous System.

Motor Neurons :

● These are known as efferent.

● These neurons carry nerve impulses from Central Nervous System.

● The signal is later on passed to the affected organs.

Relay Neurons :

● They are known as interneuron.

● They are mainly found in spinal cord and brain.

● Their function is to allow the sensory and motor neuron to communicate.
