Stomata are tiny pores on epidermis of leaves through which gaseous exchange takes place with the atmosphere.

Stomata also help in the process of transpiration.

it helps in transpiration.stomata are the holes in the leaf through which excessive water is given out by the plant.This helps in cooling the plant and helps the plant gain more nutrients as it drains more water from the soil to compensate for the lost water..
