hey frnd!!
stomata is mainly for :-
- exchange of gasses.
-giving put excess water in form of water vapour i.e transpiration
-as it facilitates the process of transpiration it also facilitates the process of nutrients in plant along with water.
-it also facilitates in process like photosynthesis and respiration also
-loss of water from the stomata creates upward pull, i.e suction pull which helps in absorbtion of water from the roots .
