Vitamin A: formation and maintenance of teeth, bones, soft tissue, white blood cells, the immune system and mucus membranes. Beta-carotene also acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from free radical damage.

Example: broccoli, carrots


Vitamin C: Repairs damage cell and  an important antioxidant which helps counteract the effects of damaging free radicals.

Example: Orange, tomatoes, mango


Vitamin D: main role in metabolism calcium, helps build bones and keep bones strong and healthy. Block the release of parathyroid hormone.

Example: cheese, and egg yolks
