Functions of WBCs:

  • White blood cells (WBCs) are know as immunity cells of our body.
  • They helps to fight against the infections and disease. Hence called defence of body.
  • They destroys infectious agents and some of the disease causing agents called pathogens.
  • They produce antibodies and are known as phagocytosis.
  • They also destroys cancer cells and they plays an important role in the body.
