Fungi cannot be considered as non-green plants because most of the fungi are saprophytic i.e. they feed on dead and decay organic matter and some are parasitic causing diseases in humans, plants, and animals. So, they show the heterotrophic mode of nutrition. While plants show autotrophic nutrition.
