no..fungi are not heterotrophic organisms.They are saphrotrohic or parasitic.They can not make their own food as they lack chlorophyll.

Fungi are saprophytic in nature that is they resides on dead decaying material.
They derives nutrition from the dead decaying material. Hence they are not making food by their own therefore they are hetero trophic (the depends on others for their nutrition). Hence Fungi are called hetero trophic organisms.
