Given :

Maximum current capacity of fuse are 3 A , 5 A and 10 A .

Power of iron , P = 1.32 kW = 1320 W .

Applied voltage , V = 220 V .

To Find :

The fuse required to operate the iron .

Solution :

We know , power is given by :

P=IV\\\\I=\dfrac{P}{V}

Putting value of P and V in above equation .

We get :

I=\dfrac{1320}{220}\\\\I=6\ A

Therefore , fuse of 10 A will be required .
