Na+ is discharged at the cathode during electrolysis of NaCl

Well the answer of your question is "Na"
As the NaCl actually consist of Na and Cl so upon the electrolysis it gives the Na+ and Cl ions
At the cathode the reaction will be like following
Na+    +  e-  ⇒ Na 
While on the anode end the reaction will be
Cl- ⇒ Cl +  e-
The overall reaction will  be like
NaCl⇒ Na+     +   Cl-

Also, the fused NaCl is actually the molten NaCl.
