Given: f(x) = 2 sinx and g(x) = cos²x

To find: The value of ( f + g ) π/3

Solution:

  • Now we have given  f(x) = 2 sinx and g(x) = cos²x
  • Then:

                 (f + g) will be:

                 2 sinx + cos²x

                 (f + g)π/3 = 2 sin(π/3) + cos²(π/3)

                                  = 2(√3/2) + (1/2)²

                                  = √3 + 1/4

Answer:

       So the value of ( f + g ) π/3 is √3 + 1/4 (3 rd option)
