Answer:

The area of triangle is 8 sq.unit.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let G(-1,4),S(-4,-1)and R( -2,-3) are the vertices of ΔGSR.

Area of triangle =1/2[x₁(y₂-y₃)+x₂(y₃-y₁)+(y₁-y₂)]

Here (x₁,y₁)=(-1,4)

         (x₂,y₂)=(-4,-1)

         (x₃,y₃)=(-2,-3)

=1/2[(-1)(-1+3)+(-4)(-3-4)+(-2)(4+1)]

=1/2[(-1)(2)+(-4)(-7)+(-2)(5)]

=1/2[-2+28-10]

=1/2[-12+28]

=1/2 x 16

=8 sq.unit
