It is false, that the G has maximum value at the equator.

• Our planet is constantly rotating at a great velocity which is generating a huge amount of centrifugal force on the surface of our planet.

• Now,the velocity of rotation is maximum in the equatorial region which means the equatorial region has the maximum amount of centrifugal force.

• The centrifugal force is outward facing which eliminates the effects of the inward facing gravitational force.

• That's why the equatorial region has the the smallest amount of gravitational force in our planet.
