$\rightarrow4x = 89 + 11$

$\rightarrow 4x = 100$

$\rightarrow x = \cancel\dfrac{100}{4}$

$\rightarrow x = 25$

So,

The number is 25.

Verification :–

Substitute the values in equation (1),

$\rightarrow4x - 11 = 89$

Here,

• x = 25

$\rightarrow4(25) - 11 = 89$

$\rightarrow4 \times 25 - 11 = 89$

$\rightarrow100 - 11 = 89$

$\rightarrow89 = 89$
