Once a writer won an award for his work. It came to be considered a masterpiece
one and all. However, a young man, who was cynical by nature, said to the pool. You
work may be a masterpiece, but it is priced a little too high. I think difficult for the
common man to buy it."
The poet replied, "Yes, the price is indeed high but the book is worth is price. The his
eyes fell on the young man's shoes. "Those shoes of yours are beautiful. How much
they cost?"
They cost me two hundred rupees," said the man beaming with pride. Then the poet
said "You gladly parted with two hundred rupees to get your feet covered But you are
not prepared to pay half the amount for something that is worthy of being carried in you
head!"
The man felt ashamed of himself and apologised to the poet.
